How do I add items to my pantry?
You can add items manually using the "Add manually" button on the Pantry screen, by scanning a barcode, or by scanning a grocery receipt (Fridzo Pro). Scanned items land in your Shop screen first — tap a location (Fridge, Pantry, or Freezer) and then "Move to pantry" to add them.
What is Miso and how do I use it?
Miso is your AI chef, powered by Claude. Open the Miso screen from the Home tab and ask anything — "What can I make with chicken and rice?" or "Plan my meals for this week." Miso uses your pantry contents to give you personalised suggestions. Free accounts get 3 Miso chats per day. Fridzo Pro gets a higher monthly message allowance.
How does receipt scanning work?
Receipt scanning is a Fridzo Pro feature. Tap "Scan receipt" on the Shop screen, then photograph your grocery receipt. Fridzo uses AI to read the items, categories, and prices from the receipt and adds them to your Shop list. You can then assign each item a location and move them to your pantry.
What is Fridzo Pro and what does it include?
Fridzo Pro is the premium subscription. It unlocks a higher monthly Miso AI message allowance, receipt scanning, spend tracking, and priority access to new features. You can subscribe from the paywall screen within the app or from Settings.
How do I cancel my Fridzo Pro subscription?
Fridzo Pro is billed through Google Play. To cancel, open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile, go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, find Fridzo, and tap Cancel subscription. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Delete account." This permanently removes your account, pantry, shopping list, meal plans, receipts, and all other data within 24 hours. It cannot be undone.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive a 6-digit code. Enter it on the next screen, then set your new password.
The app isn't working as expected. What should I do?
First, try closing and reopening the app. If that doesn't help, check your internet connection. Fridzo requires an active connection to sync pantry data and use Miso. If the problem continues, email us at support@fridzo.app with a description of what happened and we'll take a look.
